A spa day in Cambridge

Two or three hours of floatation, infrared sauna and massage in private rooms — no crowded pool, no queue for the steam room. Just you, or the two of you, in a restored Victorian villa 500 m from Cambridge station.

What a Floatwell spa day is — and isn't

We are not a hotel spa. There is no pool and no steam room. What you get instead is privacy: every treatment happens in its own room, with its own shower, booked for you alone. Most visits last between two and three hours.

Every spa day includes towels, toiletries, a welcome drink and free parking at the front of the villa. If you are coming by train, we are a seven-minute walk up Station Road.

Spa day questions

All FAQs →
Is there a pool or steam room?

No. Floatwell is a wellbeing centre rather than a hotel spa, so every treatment is private. If a pool is a must, a hotel spa will suit you better; if quiet and privacy matter more, we will.

How long does a spa day take?

Most spa days run two to three hours, including time to shower and settle between treatments. Ultimate Wellbeing takes about two and a half hours.

What should I bring?

Nothing but yourself. Towels and toiletries are provided, and most people float without a swimsuit, as the room is yours alone. If you are sharing the sauna, you may want to bring one.

Can I give a spa day as a gift?

Yes. Every package is available as a gift voucher, sent by email on the day you choose, printed at home or collected from reception.

Is there parking?

Yes — free parking at the front of the villa. We are also 500 m from Cambridge station and the guided busway stops outside.
