Archana

Archana has been practising yoga for nearly 30 years and teaching for three. Her teaching focuses on bringing the significant mental and physical benefits of yoga to students of all ages and levels of experience – whilst keeping classes accessible and fun. She teaches a variety of yoga styles, including vinyasa and hatha. Classes combine fun physical practice with breath work and relaxation techniques. Archana is passionate about yoga teaching and believes that time spent on a yoga mat is never a waste!

Marina’s journey with began during a time when, despite having all the hallmarks of success – a stable job, a beautiful home, and the ability to travel – she felt an emptiness within. Yoga became her sanctuary, guiding her to reconnect with her true self, nurturing both mind and body, and allowing her to live more fully in the present. Marina’s mission is to help you embrace this practice as part of your life, reconnect with your authentic self, and live with purpose.

In 2019, burnout and an unexpected autoimmune condition turned my life upside down. Modern medicine offered little clarity, so I turned inward—drawing on my Indian roots and rediscovering Vedic healing. Breathwork, herbs, and simple biohacks became powerful tools. What I once dismissed as ‘woo-woo’ became the science-backed foundation that helped me heal and reclaim my health.

Floatwell seeks to achieve real results with our Wellbeing and movement classes. Including Breathe, Stretch, Strength and Reflect we understand that taking time out from your busy schedule means that you will want to achieve particular goals, we help you with this.

We offer morning and evening classes throughout the week, and there is a range and pricing options to suit everyone. All our classes are run by experienced teachers who will help you get the most out of your session whatever your level. With small class sizes of up to 12, you will have attention whenever you need, to improve form and ask questions.

  • Yoga Fundamentals Archana teaches the foundational poses, breathwork, and alignment principles that form the bedrock of a balanced yoga practice. Perfect for newcomers or anyone seeking to refresh their basics, this course nurtures confidence and body-mind awareness.
  • 6.00pm-7.00pm 
  • Stretch Marina’s 6-week course that enhances flexibility and body awareness through dynamic and static stretches, yoga-inspired movements, and mobility exercises.
  • Wednesday
  • 6.00pm – 7.00pm
  • Strength This is a 6-week strength-focused course that enhances posture and overall fitness through calisthenics and weighted movements. It builds muscular strength, improves bone density, and supports all fitness levels with personalised guidance.
  • Thursday
  • 6.00pm – 7.00pm
  • Reflect Guiding participants to incorporate reflection into daily life. Through meditation, journaling, and gentle exercises, it fosters self-awareness, reduces stress, and enhances emotional well-being. Suitable for all experience levels.

  • Yoga Restore A Flow designed to appreciate the yin and wind you down towards the weekend.

  • Breathwork A course of breathwork designed to appreciate the reflect and wind you down at the end of the weekend.
